For what it's worth, I've been working on refrigerated air dryers for 18 yrs. Believe it or not, I have never had a soldered joint leak with Staybrite #8. I use it for everything, high side, low side, condensers, brass to copper and stainless to copper. Never a call back for a leak. I use a Surefire torch with Mapp gas. I have never used dynaflow or any other brazing material. I prefer #8 because of the weakened brazed joints I've seen break due to overheating.
Description: Stay Brite® Lead-free Solder
Stay Brite® solders bond with all of the ferrous and nonferrous alloys. Joints soldered with Stay Brite® solders exhibit considerably higher than necessary elongation for sound, dissimilar metal joints and vibration applications. Both Stay Brite® and Stay Brite® 8 produce an overall component with greater strength than a brazed component whose base metals are weakened by annealment from high brazing heat
Stay Brite : 4% Ag, 221°C melting

_Stay Brite 4% Ag, fond a
