It's obligatory with TEV.

Does your customer want to run at such high temp or is it limitation? You can easily run @ -30° with such load biggrin.gif

We can say both tongue.gif

How could you tune the superheat without any liquid receiver (and same gaz quantity)? biggrin.gif

what's mandatory is to have a 100% liquid flow at the TXV inlet, the easiest (and the safest too) way to achieve this is by installing a receiver after the condenser. However, with a slightly oversized condenser you can avoid the receiver, but as you can't be sure of the environmental conditions of use it's better to install one (in case the air temp rises, your condenser is not as oversized as it was supposed to be, and you can reach the limit of the 100% liquid flow)

Just take a look at its specifications (ASHRAE capacity) here.

You'll have even more capacity because the condensing temperature may not be as high as in CECOMAF/ASHRAE conditions and the liquid is subcooled (main difference between CECOMAF and ASHRAE) @ lower temperature (~25°C)

The liquid won't be at -30°C of course but the evap will biggrin.gif (frost until 2-3cm after the HX, no more no less). The superheat must be high too, don't be afraid of getting 25° entering compressor, it's able to run with "hot" gas enterring (until 40°C), just give the mandatory airflow through him and the condenser biggrin.gif

Edit : with pure R507c, I forgot to mention that biggrin.gif
