Dry-Ice/Ln2 containers for SLI/CF by piotres - rev. 3.0

Hi

I've already showed mine many SLI/CF containers kits on XS.org forum, but this time I've decided to show rev. 3.0 this place too .

That's rev. 3.0 "light" .

LIGHT = only difference to "full" version is thickness of cooper plate ("back wall") brazed on the half-pipe - 5 mm in "full" version, and 0.3 mm in "light" version . Weight of whole container is lower, price too .

Changes compared to rev. 2.0 :

- bigger base - 70 x 80 mm with holes for GF series 8x00








On this photo before polishing .

















Backplates are made on CNC, they're 2.0mm thick stainless . Insulation is 19 mm thick (dry even on Ln2 ) .

Hi Guys again, that's 3.0 full, made for one XS member from Switzerland .

On first photo I've also explain difference between "light" and "full" version ...I hope now everybody understand .

Insulation is 19 mm thick .

During incoming weekend (19-21.01.), pots will be used on two 8800GTX in Ln2 bench .

Wouldn't that be more simple to solder it?

just an idea : couldn't be better to use brass for the tube and the long plate ? to stay weldable and be less conductive ?
its a very little detail for sure

Why brass ? Brass can be even hard to braze together with cooper, because of lower temperature which it need to start being "liquid" . I think 100% cooper is better.

I think I can answer this, as I've played with some SLI containers :
NO, not unless you suffer from Parkinson's syndrom

And God created funnel for parkinsoniens

That's rev. 3.0 full made for special order from mine old customer Symphy - He want normal 3.0 full but without channels in baseplate .
